Swedish Cricket Federation (SCF) Awards 2026

The Swedish Cricket Federation (SCF) has invited nominations from all the member associations for the SCF Awards 2026, which will be presented during this year's Members’ Forum. These awards recognize and celebrate the clubs, leaders, and initiatives that have made outstanding contributions to the growth and development of cricket in Sweden.

All the members are encouraged to submit nominations together with a brief justification via Google form latest by 30th September. The Board will then select one nomination for each category and submit on behalf of LCF.

Category-1: Cricket Club of the Year

This award recognizes the overall excellence of a cricket club and is presented to a club that has made an exceptional contribution to the development of Swedish cricket during the past year. Nominations may highlight areas such as:

• Club organization and operations

• Member engagement and participation

• Sporting achievements

• Youth and junior development

• Club development initiatives

• Contributions to cricket at the local and national levels

The nomination should clearly describe the club’s achievements during the year and explain why it deserves to be recognized.

Category-2: Cricket Leader of the Year

This award honors an individual whose leadership, commitment, and dedication have made a significant impact on their club and/or Swedish cricket. Eligible nominees may include:

• Club Chairpersons

• Board Members

• Trainers / Coaches

• Team Managers / Other Officials

• Volunteers and other committed contributors

The nominee should have demonstrated strong leadership, inspired engagement, contributed to the development of the club, or otherwise served as a positive force within Swedish cricket.

The nomination should describe the individual's contributions and the impact they have had on the club, its members, or Swedish cricket as a whole.

Category-3: Cricket Initiative of the Year

This award recognizes a specific project, activity, or innovative idea that has made a positive and measurable contribution to the development of cricket in Sweden. Examples include initiatives related to:

• Youth cricket

• Women's and girls' cricket

• School cricket

• Recruitment of new players and members

• Inclusion and diversity

• Education and training

• Club development

• Other innovative programs and activities

Through this award, SCF aims to highlight successful initiatives that can inspire other clubs and contribute to the continued growth of cricket across Sweden.
